Katherine is a talented marketing intern and digital technologist – and quite frankly an up-and-coming future business leader rockstar. At Design for People, she manages social media accounts, provides layout and design for marketing materials, performs market research, creates wireframes and user flows for website designs, and produces marketing and SEO strategy reports.
For the Tanzania Education Fund, Katherine created user-friendly wireframes and user flow documents to connect the site’s information to its visual design and helped consolidate the current website’s information. She’s currently designing and developing their new website in WordPress which will launch shortly. For Empathic Design, she wrote a blog post about user-friendly applications, and in collaboration with colleague Caroline Hunter about 2022 Marketing Trends. For MyCaddy App, she created a marketing strategy presentation along with research and designs social media content. Katherine also helped Trinity Church Wall Street edit presentations, videos, and e-Learning modules for their prestigious Leadership Development fellowship program for both synchronous and asynchronous learning.
Katherine brings 3 years of web design and social media marketing experience where she designs and researches relevant content and creates captions for our social media accounts. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Information Technology with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management and a minor in Digital Marketing Strategy from Virginia Tech in May 2022. She has a knack for UX/UI design and synthesizing information into user-friendly blog posts.
When she’s not creating designs or marketing reports, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family (and dog Cash), cooking, yoga, and traveling.
