David Gibney

Copywriter & Producer

David is a writer and producer of digital content and media. His technical, patient, and detailed approach ensures a quality outcome. He provides copyediting and media production for the Leadership Fellows Program at Trinity Church Wall Street. His copywriting spans the gamut, from writing accessibility descriptions for artwork for people with sight impairments for the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center to technical and marketing eBooks and data sheets for YouMail Protective Services to the non-profit Tanzania Education Fund and the schools it supports. He also writes for the Design for People and Empathic Design blogs.

David brings 20 years of experience in media production, creative and technical writing, report management, and data-driven analyses. His start in eLearning was in audio production at Rosetta Stone. He’s worked in logistical analytics at Maersk, started and managed a package testing lab in New York, and has experience in environmental work.

David has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical and Scientific Communication from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. He is an active learner exploring everything he can, from coding, quantum physics, geopolitical events, animals, philosophy, culture, movies, music, and creative writing.
